Program Orientation & Application
The LVN mandatory orientation will be held via Zoom. No sign-up is required鈥攖he Zoom link is on our flyer.
Please log in 10 minutes early so we can take attendance. Keep your microphone muted throughout the session. You're welcome to submit questions in the chat box or ask them at the end of the presentation.
All applicants must complete an application to the Vocational Nursing Program. These applications will be provided after the orientation.
Please note: Attendance is required, and the orientation will last approximately two (2) hours.
If you have applied previously, you must restart the process by attending a new mandatory orientation.

Admission Requirements
- Attend ONE mandatory program orientation.
- An official U.S.-accredited high school transcript showing completion of the 12th grade, G.E.D. or U.S. high school equivalent, or have earned an Associate's or Bachelor.
- Completion of College Level English ENGL C1000 or higher, formerly named ENGL 1A, and College Level Math 70-95 or higher, and with a 鈥淐鈥 grade or higher in both areas.
- Have an overall GPA of 2.5 in Science areas.
- Complete the following prerequisites (or acceptable equivalents) within 5 years before enrollment with a 鈥淐鈥 grade or higher in each class:
- Anatomy & Physiology course 4-8 units (e.g. BIO-106, or both BIO-108 and BIO-112);
- Nutrition (or BIO 134)
- Child Growth and Development (or CDEV 53 or CDEV 67 or PSYC 21)
- Certification of CPR for BLS providers, approved by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
- 18 years of age or older.
- A Physical Examination and proof of immunity for specified communicable diseases within the year.
