Dual Enrollment classes are offered in partnership with ²ÝÝ®ÉçÇø Unified School District and are in alignment with the high school program of study. Classes may be offered at the high school during the students’ school day under the AB288 program. Concurrent Enrollment allows high school students to enroll in college-credit bearing academic classes at CCSF independently.

Students can enroll in a variety of classes (i.e. Psychology, Spanish, Art) with the exception of Physical Education classes. Students are responsible for purchasing their own textbooks and classroom supplies.

Credit Recovery is for students that need to earn/make-up high school credits. The Transitional Studies Department at CCSF offers a variety of non-credit (high school credit only) courses every semester at several of our educational centers throughout the city. Classes are still tuition free and generally there are no out-of-pocket expenses for this program.

Students wishing to enroll in a world language class should follow the concurrent enrollment steps to enroll. Before choosing a class to take it may be best for a student to take the language placement advisory test to determine the level that they should take at CCSF.

Students can log in to the CCSF student portal, myRAM, to access their grades and unofficial transcripts.

To Login to myRAM Portal students will need to:

A student’s username is their CCSF Student ID#.  Students can navigate through the My Profile section to view grades and unofficial transcripts, and to order an official transcript.

Yes, non-resident students can enroll in coursework at CCSF. Under the concurrent enrollment program, classes are free for high school students (except for international students, including F1, B1/B2, J1 VISA holders).

The ESL Department includes both credit and noncredit programs.

The Credit ESL Program is designed for students with academic goals who wish to complete a two-year degree or vocational certificate at City College or to transfer to a four-year college or university.

The Noncredit ESL Program is free of charge and is designed to help immigrant students develop their general ability to understand, speak, read and write English. Students should start by taking a placement test in either credit ESL or noncredit ESL depending on their needs. Classes are held at various campuses throughout the city including: Mission, Chinatown, Ocean, Downtown.
